TRAINS are running at reduced speed this morning due to flooding on the railway.
Heavy rain has flooded the rail line between Newton-le-Willows and Eccles this morning (Monday, February 24).

As a result, trains are running at a reduced speed between Newton and Manchester.
Disruption is expected to last until around 1.30pm, Norethern Rail says.
