Traffic delays after crash on M6 between Haydock and Newton-le-Willows
MOTORISTS are being warned of heavy traffic on the roads this morning following an early morning crash on the M6.
The accident happened northbound between junction 22 at Newton-le-Willows and junction 23 at Haydock.
Congestion is stretching back to junction 21A at the Croft interchange.
Trafffic reports state there are long delays and queuing traffic for ten miles due to people who were slowing down to look at the earlier accident on the opposite side of the M6.
There are also delays on the East Lancs between M6 junction 23 at Haydock and Liverpool Road.
