SUPPORTERS are urged to be aware of parking rules ahead of Saints’ World Club Challenge clash with Sydney Roosters tonight (kick off 7.45pm)
Chalon Way multi-storey car park in St Helens will remain open on Saturday evening for motorists travelling to the game.
Birchley Street car park in St Helens town centre has recently become a pay and display system, however, a St Helens Council spokesperson said parking there will be free after 7pm.
Meanwhile, supporters are being advised of changes to private parking areas in St Helens that see operators impose fines if drivers overstay limits.
In January, Tesco halved the maximum parking time at the supermarket near Saints' stadium from three hours to one hour 30 minutes.
The car park at St Helens Leisure Park has also changed policy recently, meaning drivers need to enter their registration numbers at venues such at Cineworld and Nando’s.
