SAINTS fans should wrap up warm for Saturday night’s World Club Challenge - and a waterproof might come in handy too.
Opponents the Sydney Roosters have been getting acclimatised to some typical British winter weather today as it poured it down throughout Friday
According to the Met Office, the rain is unlikely to be as regular or heavy on Saturday - but there is a chance of showers in the second half of the encounter, which takes place at the Totally Wicked Stadium with a 7.45pm kick off.
The temperature is predicted to be about 7°C, although it will feel more like 3°C, according to the forecast.
Saints, of course, are more likely to be used to the wintry conditions than the Aussies, but it’s unlikely we’ll see a repeat of the Arctic conditions of 2001 when hail showers swept in at Horwich as Saints famously triumphed over the Brisbane Broncos at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium.
