THEATRE Royal manager Chantelle has passed on her congratulations to former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson and her partner Lewis Devine on the birth of their baby boy three years after meeting while co-starring at the venue.

Lucy-Jo announced she was expecting a child with boyfriend Lewis Devine by sharing a photo of the scan to social media in August.

The pair met at St Helens Theatre Royal during the 2017 Christmas panto of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, where she played the title character and he played Muddles.

They announced the birth of their son yesterday via Instagram. This is Lucy-Jo's second baby, who also has five-year-old Sienna from her previous relationship with Alan Halsall.

Chantelle Nolan, Theatre Manager for St Helens Theatre Royal, has directed Lewis in many pantomimes.

She said: “It was a pleasure to direct both Lucy and Lewis in Snow White a couple of years ago.

"I was absolutely thrilled to hear that they’ve had a baby boy.

"Lewis’ perfect comedy timing makes Lewis is a firm favourite with panto audiences in St Helens and Liverpool. He will make a wonderful dad.”

Lewis will be appearing as French Frank in Regal Entertainments Easter Panto, Beauty and the Beast at The Epstein Theatre, Liverpool, from April 10-19.
