A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been fined for having cannabis in his possession and obstructing a police officer.
Thomas James Bacon, of McCormack Avenue, Parr pleaded guilty at Merseyside Magistrates' Court to possession of cannabis and obstructing a police officer in the exercise of his powers.
The offences relate to November 2, 2019.
For the drugs offence, Bacon was given an £80 fine, must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He was also fined an extra £50 for obstructing the officer, making a total of £247.
