A DRINK driver has been banned from getting behind the wheel for 30 months.
Christopher Peet, of Vincent Street, St Helens pleaded guilty to driving while over the alcohol limit.
Peet, 51, drove a vehicle on Hardshaw Street, St Helens while over the limit on December 7, 2019.
Peet was made to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and was disqualified from having a driving licence for 30 months.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody at the magistrates' court on February 3 after having been released on bail on December 24.
Peet was also given a community order and must undertake up to 16 days of rehabilitation activity and do 100 hours' unpaid work over the next 12 months.
