A MUM-of-three who started a Facebook page selling new and used items such as prams and cots is celebrating as she prepares to open a baby boutique.

Natalie Haworth, from Newton-le-Willows, started her Facebook page Nat's Next to New after realising how expensive baby items are – especially with a growing family.

She started getting pre-loved prams, strollers, accessories, cribs, rockers, swings, electricals, feeding items, bathing items, toys and gifts at lower costs to what is on the high street to help other parents, who like her had a growing family and changing needs.

Natalie, who has three sons aged five, three and two, said: "I was a stay at home mum after I had my second, I, like most people, realised how much everyone goes crazy with their first and that a lot of what we had was good still but not what we needed anymore.

"These items are not cheap, but often others have good things that are pre-loved which after a good clean can help other people.

"I was doing it for a little extra cash, then it grew so much that I started to look for a storage unit, then this spot on Earlestown high street came up and it was perfect."

Natalie, 30, is launching her boutique on Bridge Street in Earlestown on Saturday, February 29, under the same name of her online Facebook shop Nat's Next to New.

She added: "I got the keys on my 30th birthday in December and myself, partner and family members have worked tirelessly in the evenings, weekends around the kids to transform what was once a hoover parts repair shop into a gorgeous modern stylish baby boutique with a vast range of new and preloved baby products to suit customers budgets.

St Helens Star:

"I'm hugely proud of what I've achieved and would love the community to get behind and support my small local business."
