A man was given a suspended sentence
A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been given a suspended sentence for an assault.
Tom Hall, of Pennine Drive, Parr pleaded guilty to assault by beating at Merseyside Magisrates' Court.
Hall assaulted a man on Lowe Street South, St Helens on June 23, 2019.
Hall was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
He must also do up to 10 days' rehabilitation activity.
Hall was also ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
