THE Griffin Inn has recently reopened its doors following an extensive refurbishment.
The popular Eccleston local now has a countryside feel, while still maintaining the character of the old building.
Real fires have been installed, creating a warm, cosy atmosphere and a place to sit and relax.
The refurbishment was carried out by local tradesmen as The Griffin attempts to maintain its place at the heart of the community.
The pub has home cooked food available throughout the day, which is prepared in a newly extended kitchen.
There is a choice of rooms to dine in, including the new ‘snug’ room, side rooms and bar.
The restaurant has also undergone a major refurbishment with exquisite décor, exposed beams and an open fire.
The restaurant is also available for private functions with 11 guestrooms for those needing a place to stay.
