A Wirral youth club is launching its first open mic night on Saturday evening.
The Hive Youth Zone hosts 'Hive Live' at Heswall Hall on February 22 and will feature performances from members.
This exciting evening will be a showcase of Hive talent, featuring resident Hive bands, singers and dance troupes including Edge of Seventeen, Ludovico, Heavy Honey, The Junior Dance Troup, and The Junior Pop Choir.
There's also an open mic section for youngsters to show what they're made of. Kids can sign up on the night.
The event is a great opportunity for youth groups to get involved, or for local young performers who want to take to the stage.
All funds raised on the night will be going towards The Hive's first full-length production – High School Musical, scheduled for April – with a chance to see a ‘sneak peek’ performance from the cast who are currently in rehearsal.
Tickets are £2.50 and are available from The Hive reception (Bright Street, Birkenhead 0151 705 8000) or at www.thehiveyouthzone.org/event/hive-live/
