THE hotly anticipated B&M megastore will open its doors on Riverside Retail Park next Friday.
B&M's current store on the retail park is almost empty and will officially close this Saturday.
The former Homebase site has undergone a comprehensive internal and external makeover programme before it opens its doors at 9am.
Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food and drink, pet range, health and beauty, furniture, DIY, homewares and a new garden centre.
The new colleagues were asked to nominate a charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the community.
They chose St Rocco’s Hospice, who will be taking centre stage to officially unveil the new B&M store, alongside the mayor of Warrington, cllr Wendy Johnson.
In addition to opening the new store, the team will also receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers to go towards the charity.
Store manager, Mark Shaw, said: “The team from St Rocco’s Hospice really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for people in the community, we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.
“Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open next Friday and show customers their brand new B&M.”
The new store has created 25 more jobs in addition to the 25 current staff at Riverside Retail Park.
