Boy, 16, 'armed with screwdriver' arrested
A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon after a police search.
Officers patrolling Prescot on Monday evening (February 17) attempted to stop a teenage boy on Speakman Way shortly after 6pm.

Police say the suspect made off from uniformed officers and was chased and later detained on Station Road.
During a search a screwdriver was found.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and taken to custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
