A MAN who admitted to possession of six bags of cannabis and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty has been given a community order.
Mark Coxhill of Ghyll Grove, Clinkham Wood appeared at Merseyside Magistrates' Court.
The 33 year-old was convicted of possession of six snap bags of cannabis and resisting an officer in the execution of his duty.
The offences happened after officers stopped to speak to a man on Windermere Avenue, Clinkham Wood on the night of October 21, 2019.
Coxhill was given a community order and must do 60 hours of unpaid work over a 12-month period and up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity.
He was also ordered to pay £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £90 surcharge to victim services.
