A 44-YEAR-OLD man charged with sex offences on a girl has appeared in court.
Melvin Anthony Miller, of Mountsfield, Frome, Somerset is accused of committing the offences in St Helens between September 2017 and February 2020.
Miller has been charged with two counts of sexual assault on a girl and two counts of attempting to cause or incite a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
He is also charged with four counts of making an indecent photograph of a child and two counts of possessing an indecent photograph of a child.
Miller appeared before Merseyside Magistrates' Court today (Friday, February 14).
He has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on the week of March 13.
