THERE has been another closure in place on the M58 following a crash.
The crash took place on the M58 eastbound between junction one and junction three.
The #M58 eastbound #J1 (#Sefton #Kirkby) to #J3 (#Southport #A570 #Ormskirk #StHelens #Rainford #A570) 2 lanes have been closed due to a collision. Traffic Officers & @LancsRoadPolice @MerPolTraffic @NWmwaypolice are currently at the scene.

Two lanes were closed due to the collision and traffic officers were called to the scene.
Lanes have now been reopened.

It is the second closure that has taken place on the M58 today (Wednesday).
A multi-vehicle crash took place this morning between junctions three and four, in which Highways England said there had been "amazingly" no injuries. All lanes have now been reopened following this morning's crash.
