Police made two arrests
POLICE have arrested two men in connection with three thefts from motor vehicles in Prescot and Whiston.
Officers made the arrests following three thefts from motor vehicles in the Middleton Drive area of Prescot and Chestnut Close in Whiston on Monday evening into Tuesday.

The thefts saw items stolen including cash, mobile phones, electronic tablets and a sports bag.
As part of the investigation officers attended a property on Feltwood Close, Liverpool on Tuesday morning.
A 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested in connection with the thefts.
During a search of the property a number of items were recovered.
The suspects were taken to custody.
