SAINTS’ Lachlan Coote will be missing for at least two weeks after suffering an MCL injury during Friday’s win over Salford.

Coach Kristian Woolf gave an update in the the full back today.

Woolf said: “Lachlan has suffered an MCL injury and he’s going to be out for a couple of weeks.

“There’s a possibility that he could be back for the World Club Challenge but is no certainty.

“We will have to see how he progresses the next couple of weeks.”

In Coote's place youngster Jack Welsby will continue at full back, with Matty Costello expected to drop into the three-quarters.
