TWO fire engines attended Prescot Road after a car ended up on its roof.

Firefighters attended after a vehicle was upturned shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday (January 28).

A fire service spokeswoman said a person was already out of the vehicle by the time they arrived.

She said: "We were called at 5.26pm and on scene at 5.32pm. Two engines went and it was one vehicle on its roof.

"The person was outside of the vehicle when we got there and they were assessed by paramedics.

"It doesn't appear there were any injuries.

"We handed the scene over to police at 5.52pm."
