THE death of a man found in Queens Park on Sunday, is being treated as 'not suspicious'.
Emergency services were sent to Queens Park, off Boundary Road, just before 8am on Sunday, January 26, to reports of concern for the safety of a man.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and found a man had died.
Enquiries are ongoing to formally identify the man and inform his next of kin.
This morning a police spokesman confirmed that the death is being treated as "not suspicious".
A forensics tent is set up in the children's area of the park and there are a number of police cars parked up on surrounding roads, Lingholme Road and Dilloway Street.
