THESE splendid pictures of Carr Mill Dam have been supplied by Carol Southward.
She said: “The Corporation Motor Bus Service advertised services to Billinge and Carr Mill Dam to serve the Pleasure Resort.
“Open daily no admission charge except for the special attractions.
“Motor boat trips, rowing boats, Wembley boats, sandy beach, bathing.
“Trout and other fishing, miniature golf, camping and picnics.
“Wish we had it back again now.”
