Police have charged a man
A MAN has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a woman was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
Police were called to a property on Pitt Street, Fingerpost to a report of concern for the safety of a woman.

Officers attended after 10.10pm on Tuesday, January 21 and found a woman with a serious head injury and facial injuries.
She was taken to hospital for treatment where she remains in a stable condition, say police.
James Greaves, 39, of Pitt Street, Fingerpost, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the incident.
He has been remanded to appear in court today, Thursday, January 23.
