Birchley Street car park to become pay and display from Tuesday
BIRCHLEY Street car park will change to pay and display, St Helens Council has confirmed.
From Tuesday, January 21 2020, motorists using the town centre car park will need to use the ticket machines after parking their cars.
Four pay and display machines have been installed with accompanying signage and prompts around the 496 space car park.
In a statement, St Helens Council said: "There are no changes to the parking charges, but customers are advised to check the charging times when making payment and ensure they display their ticket prominently in the windscreen of their vehicle for inspection."
