A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash on Hard Lane.

Police, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to the scene of a three-car crash in Dentons Green, a short distance from the Abbey pub at around 7.30pm on Monday.
A damaged car is taken away
Police sealed off a stretch of the road, near to the junction with Rainford Road.
A black BMW had been in collision with a white Ford Focus and a blue Ford Focus at the junction near Speakman Road.
The driver of the BMW, a 22 year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of a controlled drug (Class B) and driving without due care and attention.
He remains in custody, say police.

A spokesman for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters had been called to make the scene safe.
