FORMER Saints favourite Mose Masoe has suffered a serious spinal injury while playing in a pre-season friendly.
The Samoan powerhouse, who won the 2014 Grand Final in the red vee, was injured playing for Hull KR in Danny Brough's testimonial match against Wakefield Trinity at Belle Vue yesterday.
Rovers tweeted this morning that Masoe was operated on overnight at Leeds General Hospital and that further updates would be provided in due course.
