Police enquiries are ongoing
POLICE are investigating after a driver left the scene after a boy was hit by a car.
The collision involved a Ford Focus and a 10-year-old boy took place on Thatto Heath Road on Friday afternoon (January 10).

A police spokeswoman said the driver left the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
She said: "It was a slight injury road traffic collision. It happened at 4pm on Friday and involved a 10 year-old boy and a Ford Focus car.
"The boy suffered only cuts and bruises. The driver of the car left the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
