WE would direct any Saints supporter with passion and pride in the club’s history to read Mike Critchley’s interview with Keiron Cunningham (see here).
Keiron’s time as coach Saints didn’t end well but this should not diminish his standing as one of the greatest players in a generation to wear the red vee.
The former number nine, who speaks candidly about his time in charge, has clearly moved on and is relishing his new career as a co-owner of an electrical supplies company.
At some point, it would be good to see him walk out at the stadium where his statue stands and for the Saints fans to underline the appreciation and affection they have for one of the sport’s legends.
