DRUGS and cash were seized after a teenager on a bike was pulled over by police.
Officers patrolling Prescot on Friday, December 5 carried out a stop check of a cyclist on Hughes Avenue.
A quantity of illegal drugs were recovered following the search of the suspect who was later detained on suspicion of drugs supply.
A 16-year-old boy was detained by police.
A police spokesman: "A nearby property was later searched by officers involved in the investigation which resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of cash which was seized.
"The male concerned was later interviewed under caution as officers continued to investigate."
