RESIDENTS are waking up to a power cut in parts of Grange Park this morning.
The cut is affecting properties in Lugsmore Lane, Prescot Road, Patterdale Drive and the surrounding area.
Reports came in at 7.10am, and engineers were called to the site and are currently carrying out investigations on the network.
Scottish Power said: "Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible. We expect the power to be restored by 9.15am.
"We will update this message if this information changes. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. This message was recorded at 8.13am on December 9, 2019."
Carmel College has also been affected by the power outage, taking to their Facebook page to tell students not to come in until 10am.
The post said: "Due to a power outage in the local area, students should NOT come into college until 10am this morning when we have been advised that services will be restored.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
