POLICE arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with three theft offences.
Officers made an arrest at Cables Retail Park in Prescot on Monday afternoon (December 2) following reports of a man being detained in possession of an expensive handbag which had not been paid for near to TK Maxx.

Police detained a suspect, who was found in possession of a pair of pliers which have been seized as part of the investigation.
Officers say a suspect was also arrested in connection with two previous theft offences at Next on November 30 and Aldi on East Prescot Road, Liverpool in July.
Police also arrested the man, from Huyton, on suspicion of driving an uninsured vehicle and subsequently seized a car.
The suspect was taken into custody.
