THE Steve Prescott Bridge will be lit up in rainbow colours on Tuesday to mark the one year anniversary since the death of 13-year-old Eboney Cheshire.

Rainhill High pupil Eboney took ill in her home on Sandon Close, Rainhill on Sunday, December 2 2018.

After being rushed to hospital, the teenager died the next morning at Monday, December 3.

In March it was announced that post mortem results found that the cause of her death was Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) Toxicity.

MDMA is more commonly known as ecstasy.

A police investigation is still ongoing.

To mark the one year anniversary of her death, her family are asking for the community to come and pay their respects at the Steve Prescott Bridge on Tuesday, December 3, which will be lit up in Rainbow Colours in her memory.

This is in tribute to the rainbow roses laid at her funeral.
