TRAVEL agents Hays Travel want to thank customers for their support by offering a UK wide Christmas giveaway.

Santa Claus will be coming early to Hays Travel, the travel agent that rescued 2,500 jobs when Thomas Cook went into liquidation.

John and Irene Hays want to thank everyone who gave their support in the opening of the new Hay Travel branches with a festive giveaway UK wide.

Suppliers have also witnessed the heartwarming support that Hays Travel have received over the last few months and have been extremely generous with prizes, making this year bigger and better than ever.

This Thursday and Friday virtual Santa will be flying his magic sleigh full of prizes across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, visiting 24 branches along the way to drop off gifts ranging from holiday vouchers and cruises to luxury hampers and woolly mittens.

The star prize is a family trip to meet the real Santa Claus in Lapland, where a family can look forward to gliding through the snow with huskies, taking a ride with all of Santa’s reindeers, and seeing the elves hard at work making this Christmas unforgettable.

The sleigh is fueled by #HaysHolidaySleigh posts on Twitter and Instagram, and each time the amount of posted hashtags reaches a predetermined checkpoint, someone wins a prize, and Santa sets off on his journey to the next branch.

The competition is open to everyone and there is no limit on how many times it can be entered, posts can be made on public Twitter and Instagram accounts any time from 8am on Thursday, November 28 until there have been enough hashtags posts to reach the final destination, and the family trip to Lapland is won.

Irene Hays, joint owner, at Hays Travel, said: “We wanted to say thanks again to everyone for the tremendous support we’ve had and it’s great to be able to extend our festive competition to include everyone.

"You can also pop into our new branches any time to say hello - there will always be a cheery welcome there.”
