POLICE have released these images as part of an investigation into a distraction burglary in which a man posed as someone from the Salvation Army.
In the Longshaw Common area of Billinge, a man was knocking on doors purportedly on behalf of or with the support of the Salvation Army, selling cleaning items.
Officers would like to identify the man pictured and stressed that the Salvation Army does not endorse such activity.
Police say the distraction burglary was reported on Thursday, October 24.
