FOUR people were hurt in a late-night crash in Bournemouth yesterday.
A blue Hyundai I10 and a grey Honda Civic were involved in a collision in West Way, Moordown just before 11pm.
The extent of the injuries suffered is not yet known. One of the drivers has been arrested on suspicion of motoring offences.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "We were called to a road traffic collision in West Way at 10.53pm.
"Two vehicles were involved and there were four injured people.
"One person continues to help police with their enquiries."
Witnesses said ambulances, firefighters and at least four police cars were called to the scene.
One person said the Civic hit a traffic island.
The road was closed and the front of the Civic was "unrecognisable" as a result of the impact, the witness said.
