SAINTS will not now be playing a pre-season friendly game in Valencia.

The club had been in dialogue to stage a fixture in the Spanish city on January 11 - but no contract was ever formally presented.

A Grand Final rematch with Salford had been touted to help build the profile of the 13-man code in Valencia, who have ambitions on entering League 1.

That will not now take place.
