Areas affected have included the Eccleston Grange, The Cloisters and The Spires estates.
One incident in the early hours of Monday (November 18) saw a Mercedes and Fiat 100 stolen after keys were taken from a property on Tarporley Close at Eccleston Grange.
The theft took place while the owners were sleeping in bed.
The break-in also saw laptops taken and a television ripped from a wall and then left in a garden.
The Mercedes has been recovered in Bootle bearing false registration plates and the Fiat was found abandoned on Chelford Road, Eccleston.
One resident affected by a break-in said: "I have hardly slept since. There has been a spate of thefts and there was about six or seven that I know of where cars have been ransacked. I want to spread awareness."
- Anyone with information or who been affected is urged to contact police on 101 or @MerPolCC .
