ST HELENS Council has issued a fresh warning after continued reports of a scam involving residents receiving scam text messages and emails.
The local authority says it has had reports of residents receiving texts and emails asking them to click on a link to get a refund on council tax.

The council is urging people not to click on the links and has issued advice on how to avoid scams.
In September, the local authority had issued a warning over scam text messages being sent to residents.
St Helens Council said: "We've had reports that residents are receiving texts/emails asking them to click a link to get a council tax refund.
"These are not from us so don't click any links or share any details."
