A WHISTON man is among two charged by police after knives and drugs were recovered from a vehicle

The vehicle was later searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a quantity of cannabis and two knives were found inside the vehicle and seized.
The search took place on the evening of Tuesday, September 24.
Two suspects were arrested by officers.
Police have confirmed they have since charged two men in connection with the incident.
Aiden Henders, 24, of Stone Hey, Whiston has been charged with possession of a knife and cannabis.

Dylan Haslam, 26, of Ancient Meadows, Fazakerley has also been charged with possession of a knife and cannabis following an investigation into the items recovered.
Police say the matter will be heard in court on Tuesday, December 10.
