A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Greasby.
Police were called to an address in Greasby Road, Greasby at around 11.45pm on Saturday to a report that a woman had been stabbed and child has been assaulted at a residential address.
The victims, a woman in her 30s and a seven year old child, were both taken to hospital for treatment.
Thankfully, both victims injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Stephen Farrell, 32, of Upton Road, Moreton has been charged with attempted murder and assault.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court, Derby Square today, November 11.
