A CEREMONY will be held this morning (Monday) to commemorate Armistice Day outside the town hall.
People will gather from around 10.30am at the Cenotaph in the town centre today.

There will be a two-minute silence held at 11am.
Armistice Day is commemorated every year on November 11.
This marks the end of hostilities in the First World War when the armistice signed between the Allies and Germany, which took effect at 11 o'clock in the morning, the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" of 1918.
