LAST night family, friends and passersby came together to remember Adam Ellison to mark the second anniversary of his death.

Adam Ellison, 29, went on a rare night out with his cousins and friends in Prescot on Saturday, November 4, 2017.

But as they left The Deanes House, a motorbike with two youths on it nearly rode into them.

After they questioned the youths, an argument occurred where Adam was fatally stabbed in the neck.

His killers have not yet been brought to justice.

To mark the two year anniversary of his death, the Steve Prescott Memorial Bridge was lit up red and white, the colours for his beloved Liverpool Football Club in his memory.

Huyton's Greystone Bridge was also lit up.

Taking to Facebook afterwards, his family said: "Thank you to those who also attended tonight to support Adam and his family it truly meant a lot to us all, it was amazing to see the bridge lit up in Adam's favourite colours and hear people’s support as the drove under the bridge by beeping their horn to us.

"Adam is missed and always will be, we just have to keep strong for him, his family and friends in getting the justice he deserves and keeping his memory alive.

"He will forever be in our hearts. You’ll never walk alone Adam"
