POLICE have investigated after a 51-year-old woman was found dead in Burtonwood.
Officers were called to Mercer Street in the village on Monday morning after being called about concerns for a woman.
After forensic investigations, a post mortem examination took place and the death was confirmed as not being suspicious.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At around 9.30am on Monday officers were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a woman at an address on Mercer Street, Burtonwood.
"Police and paramedics attended the scene and the body of a 51-year-old woman was found inside.
"The death was initially treated as unexplained and a Home Office post mortem was undertaken.
"It has since been confirmed that the death is not suspicious and police are liaising with the coroner."
