THE family of Adam Ellison have released new photographs taken just hours before the 29 year-old was killed in Prescot to mark the second anniversary of his death.
Adam had enjoyed a rare night out with his friends and took these pictures, but hours later he was killed after an argument occurred with a number of people on a motorbike.
During the incident Adam was stabbed in the neck with an unknown weapo,n causing him to fall to the ground.
His friends and a number of passers-by went to his aid and called 999 and the offenders rode off in the direction of Tesco supermarket.
The 29-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after 2am on hospital.
The family shared the heartbreaking details of that night with the Star here.
His sister Nicola Moore 48, added: "Five seconds of your life and then you get a knife to your neck.
"His cousins and friend thought it was a punch, but it was a knife, it was catastrophic blood loss.
"One tried to call 999, but shook so much they couldn’t, so another one took over.
"They’ve had to go through all of that as well as him being dead, they are all still having therapy because it was just horrific.
"To see that was horrendous.
"It's not just caused us to suffer, they are still suffering."
