FIREFIGHTERS were called this morning to a car which was ablaze on Chain Lane.
Crews were called after a vehicle was engulfed in flames earlier today (Monday, November 4).

Firefighters extinguished the fire after attending shortly after 8.30am.

A Merseyside Fire and rescue Service spokeswoman said: "Firefighters attended a car fire on Chain Lane, Blackbrook on Monday, November 4.
"Crews were alerted at 8.30am and on scene at 8.38am. One fire engine attended.
"On arrival crews found one vehicle fully involved in fire.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
Crews left the scene at 9.05am."
