A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with "serious" injuries after crashing into a lamppost.
Emergency services, including several ambulance vehicles and the air ambulance, attended the incident on Leyland Green Road, Garswood.

The collision took place at around 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon (October 31).
A North West Ambulance spokeswoman said a motorbike had "crashed into a lamppost" and that the rider was believed to have "serious" injuries.

She added: "We were called to 3.29pm to Leyland Green Road and attended with two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, an air ambulance and another clinician.
"A man in his early 30s was taken to hospital by road ambulance" adding his condition was believed to be "serious".
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman added: "This was a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorbike on Leyland Green Road at 2.35pm yesterday.
"The rider of the bike was taken to hospital in a critical but not life threatening condition."
