Newton-le-Willows station
ONE now cannot access Newton Station from Southworth Road due to the erection of railings.
When on foot and able, one has to use some steep steps off Mill Lane or walk under the bridge close to a very busy road and ascend an incline to the stations low level ticket office.
Surely the people of Newton, who have used this route to the station since 1848, require some explanation?
