A TEENAGER and a woman were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, after a man was sprayed with liquid from a canister.
An argument broke out on Thomas Drive in Prescot shortly after 9am before a woman was accused of spraying liquid at a 35-year-old man.
It was then alleged that the man was threatened with a knife.
The victim was not hurt after the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
A 16-year-old boy from Prescot was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in public and affray.
A 43-year-old woman from Prescot was arrested on suspicion of possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid and affray.
They have been released under investigation.
