A MAN charged in connection with the robbery of a pub has appeared in court.
Colin Leyland, 43, of no fixed address, was charged in relation with a robbery at The Red Lion pub on Robins lane, Sutton.

It had been reported to police that a man had entered the private area of the pub building before threatening a woman and stealing cash from the premises on the afternoon of Thursday, October 17.
Leyland appeared at Merseyside Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 21.
In a hearing, the case was sent to be dealt with by Liverpool Crown Court.
Leyland was remanded in custody to next appear at the Crown Court on Monday, November 18.
