POLICE issued a warning after a number of reports of threats of violence, anti-social behaviour and public order offences involving youths.
The incidents have happened near to Shaw Lane in Prescot and parts of Whiston.
Addressing parents, guardians and family members of children, Merseyside Police said they will be arresting anyone found to be involved in "thuggish behaviour".

On Monday, a spokesman for the force said: "We must stress that any child found to be involved in such thuggish behaviour will be taken into custody and you will be getting a call.
"If your child is behaving in such a way then please be reassured that safeguarding arrangements will be made alongside partner agencies which includes officers using legislation under the Children's Act to protect the community from such behaviour and remove those involved."
