A 23-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and using threatening words after a man scaled the roof of a building on Cambridge Road.
Police and emergency services were on the scene for nearly three hours after the disturbance.

Officers and fire crews sealed off Cambridge Road, St Helens after a wanted man climbed on a nearby building.
The stand off began at 2.40pm yesterday, Sunday, October 20, when a man, who is wanted on warrant, came to the attention of officers.

The suspect made his way on to the roof of the property in Cambridge Road, where there are a mix of houses and businesses, such as McColl's and Blackburns bakery.
Witnesses say the incident came to an end shortly after 5.30pm when the man came down from the roof.
The 23-year-old man arrested has now been released under investigation.
Police say the rooftop incident is not connected with a stabbing at Farmfoods on Saturday.
